A Plastic Surgery Clinic Focused on Exceptional Care

I'm Dr. David A. Sherris, a double-board certified facial plastic surgeon working here in Buffalo, New York, for the last 15 years. We bought this office actually from an artist who had her studio here. We bought this office actually in 2006, remodeled it into a fantastic state-of-the-art facial plastic surgery clinic. I was always interested in plastic surgery in general. The best thing about being a plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon is really the artistry combined with the functionality that goes into our job every day. So things need to work right, but we also want to make them aesthetically pleasing. Really, the core values of our practice are to make patients happy, satisfy their desires, and really provide ourselves throughout the care from beginning to middle, to when they're finished with their whatever they may be doing or seeking from us. What is aesthetic facial plastic surgery? Really, it's treatment of anything from the neck up to make things more appealing, maybe to fix, to reconstruct a skin cancer, or to fix a broken nose, or to just make someone more aesthetically pleasing related to a certain area or feature that they find not appealing. I think that we want them to feel the warmth, really, of the whole practice from the reception to the nurse that holds your hand during an injection treatment, or to me, who's going to be there throughout a whole procedure with you. They can expect me to do the best job I possibly can and to work with them until we meet a mutually satisfactory result. My favorite part is just getting to know them and really becoming more of a friend with them as well in the practice, and providing them something that many times will improve their self-esteem, can change a person's life, and that's very satisfying. After procedures, many times patients have a much improved self-esteem. Many times women after a facelift or mini lift might change their hairstyle, might change their makeup, just come in with a new air. Many of them have even changed some of their clothing and just look happier. Sometimes they'll turn a frown into a smile, and just their overall demeanor is better. Our location, we're at 1237 Delaware Avenue in an old Tudor home set back from the street with a buffalo out in front. When you walk in the door, you'll notice the beautiful decor and really, I think, a welcoming atmosphere from the minute you step in the door.
