Restylane
Restylane® is a brand of dermal fillers. We offer Restylane-L® and Restylane® Lyft at our Buffalo practice. Restylane® injections contain hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body that delivers volume to the skin. They are an effective solution for patients who wish to reduce facial wrinkles, restore volume to their cheeks, or plump lips. Depending on the treatment area, Restylane® can last anywhere from six to 18 months.
JUVÉDERM
JUVÉDERM® products contain a modified cross linking version of hyaluronic acid. Our Buffalo practice offers JUVÉDERM ULTRA XC to plump lips or treat moderate to severe facial wrinkles like nasolabial folds, marionette lines, or tear troughs. The JUVÉDERM products we offer can last up to one year with proper treatment from our doctor.
RHA
The RHA® Collection is the only FDA-approved hyaluronic acid filler for dynamic wrinkles and folds, lines that occur as a result of facial movement. We offer RHA® 3 to treat moderate lines and RHA® 4 to treat moderate to severe volume loss. This filler is designed to plump skin and smooth wrinkles for up to 15 months, while appearing very natural with your facial expressions at rest or in motion. It can also plump the lips for a beautiful pouty look.
RADIESSE
RADIESSE® is used to treat mild to moderate facial wrinkles, nasolabial folds, marionette lines on the lower face and to improve the contour of the jawline. This filler contains calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA), which stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. The new collagen remains in place even after the CaHA is absorbed by the body, resulting in long-lasting effects.
Sculptra Aesthetic Stands Apart From Dermal Fillers
Sculptra® Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable that gradually restores lost volume in the face. Unlike hyaluronic acid–based dermal fillers, Sculptra Aesthetic contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) microparticles, which stimulate the production of collagen as they are absorbed. This gives patients a more youthful-looking appearance for up to two years. The hyaluronic acid used in other dermal fillers is metabolized by the body quicker, which is why they often last less than half the lifetime of Sculptra injections. Sculptra products are popular amongst our patients as a more natural and long-lasting alternative to dermal fillers.
BOTOX and Dysport Can Virtually Erase Wrinkles
Patients who want to smooth wrinkles caused by dynamic movements or expressions may benefit from botulinum toxin injections like BOTOX® and Dysport®. These injections relax your muscles in a natural way to slow the formation of wrinkles and minimize their appearance for up to six months.
BOTOX
BOTOX® Cosmetic is an injectable treatment that is primarily used to smooth wrinkles like crows' feet, laugh lines, and forehead lines. BOTOX® Cosmetic typically lasts about three to six months.
Dysport
Dysport® is primarily used to smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows and forehead wrinkles. The formula is similar to BOTOX® Cosmetic. Dysport® typically lasts for up to five months.

FAQs About Injectables
Are injectables safe?
When you undergo any elective cosmetic procedure, you take on a certain level of risk. However, injectables are a straightforward and safe process that's approved by the FDA for many brands, including the injectables we use at our practice. Dr. Sherris increases this level of safety and accuracy by injecting all dermal fillers and Sculptra products himself. For touch-ups and smaller units of BOTOX and Dysport, our highly trained nurse injector can provide safe and thorough results.
Is BOTOX charged by the area?
No, we charge by the units of BOTOX or Dysport that are injected. Patients have different muscle strengths, making the amount of product injected unique for each person. For instance, one person may need 40 units of BOTOX or Dysport, while another requires 60. By charging by unit rather than area, the cost is often less and no product is wasted.
Can injectables help jowls?
Yes, if you have mild to moderate jowls, dermal filler injections into the chin, jawline, and cheek can help reduce their appearance. If you have more severe jowls or prefer a permanent solution, surgical options like a neck lift may be a more comprehensive treatment.
Do you have a rewards program?
Unlike surgical treatments that don't require a follow-up treatment, injectables last only a few months to a few years. To reward loyal patients, we participate in the rewards programs of both Allergan Alle and Galderma Aspire. Repeat patients can earn coupons as they complete treatments and receive periodic specials and discounted gift certificates for purchase. These programs encompass treatment under several brands.
What age can get injectables?
Patients must be at least 18 years old to receive any injectable treatment, though the minimum age for each specific injectable varies: different treatments work better for different age groups. The minimum age for one of our most popular treatments, lip injections, is 18.

I cannot recommend Dr. Sherris (and everyone who works in his office) enough. He made me feel incredibly comfortable throughout my procedure, and while I was healing from a traumatic injury.
